2026 Virtual + WITO Archery Mentored Deer Camp

Registration for the 8th Annual WITO Deer Camp is now OPEN!

The NJ Women in the Outdoors, NWTF Chapter is excited to offer an opportunity to women, 18 years of age or older to participate in both a Virtual Workshop and In-Person Women in the Outdoors Mentored Archery Deer Camp in 2026. Virtual Deer Camp is an expansion of our in-person workshops that included topics such as scouting, deer biology, aging deer, processing, wild game cooking and more. We took all the best parts of in-person camp and brought them to you virtually. WDC volunteers will host virtual fireside chat for all participants to share stories, ask questions and talk all things deer hunting. In-person camp will be hosted in Branchville, NJ & Stokes State Forest October 9-11, 2026.

For 8 years, our NJ WITO Mentored Archery Deer Camp has been breaking down barriers and introducing women to the hunting tradition. To make this year’s camp the best one yet, we need to add more ground blinds to our gear trailer. (Thanks to black bears and tree limbs)

Ground blinds are vital for mentorship—they allow a mentor and mentee to sit side-by-side, communicate quietly, and stay protected from the elements while waiting for a deer.

Because NJ Women in the Outdoors (NWTF) is a non-profit, we rely on the generosity of folks like you to keep these programs accessible.
